Kenage Hisoka
Hisoka is a 19 year old senior in high school. He does not have much memory of his childhood due to an illness. Shortly after he's struck by lightning, he begins to have strange dreams of a demon chasing after him. There are many moments when he feels very lost and out of control of his own destiny. |

Akuma
Akuma is a wicked demon that haunts Hisoka's dreams. His one desire is to kill Hisoka and thus kill himself. Akuma is sometimes referred to as the Black Aura Soul. |

Aurien
Aurien is the demi-god of fire and light. He is guided by a strong sense of virtue and justice, which gets him into big trouble when it's his turn at the Arena battles. Eventually he begins to question everything in his superior society and would rather throw it all away if it means doing the right thing. Even though he was the second son of the Goddess, he was ostracized as a child by the other gods for his wild imagination. He has little to no memory of his father or older brother, Marix. |

Gedeon
Gedeon is a demi-god fledgling who has his sights on winning in the Arena battles, even if it's against his own brother. He was once human but the Sun Goddess took pity upon him and gave him the life of a demi-god, however against his will. He is Aurien's brother. The Goddess created Gedeon by meshing godly energy with a human soul, which causes a severe imbalance, much like bipolar disorder, within the core of his being. |

Marix
Marix is the first son of the two main gods of heaven, the God of Fire and the Goddess of Light. Marix's failure to fulfill his destiny is what sets Hisoka down his own path. He is an extremely virtuous guy who feels responsible for Hisoka's plight. Because of this, Marix often puts the needs of others before himself, perhaps as a form of self-punishment, too. |

Ijiwaru Kataki
I named several of my characters before I knew much Japanese, but once I did learn a thing or two, I was too attached to their original names; I couldn't change them! Kataki's name literally means Revenge of the Bully! lol Kataki is ruled by revenge and has little sight for anything else. Although, he may learn what redemption is at some point. *shrugs* |

Xienyth Malinthos
Xein is a wanderer in search of his missing younger sister. He's a rough-and-tumble sort of character and has little patience with anything that doesn't concern him, aka finding his sister. He has the ability to transform into a werewolf. He also likes to unnecessarily destroy things.
This pic was originally going to be used for a new devil type character, but I failed at making him "evil", so I thought he looked closer to Xein's personality, rough but sweet. |

Samuel Fisher
Sam is an old friend of Xein's. Sam can always put on a calm smile, no matter how he really feels. He's a mercenary, working to help rebuild a broken world. Whatever money he makes from his profession, he gives away, keeping only what he needs to survive. He is a quiet loner but very skilled fighter. He likes high places. |
